Corina Chavez was born and raised in Kermit, where she graduated from Kermit High School. She holds an associate's degree in science-nursing and has been a registered nurse since 2001, also holding EMT certification. Corina has over 10 years of experience working in the emergency room, hospital, and rural health clinic of Winkler County. Additionally, she has served as a rural health clinic supervisor, weekend RN, and provided EMS services in Ward County. Corina was a school board member for KISD for 4 years and is currently serving on the city council for District 3. Presently, she is a business owner and a grandmother to 6 grandchildren. Corina cherishes her family, friends, pets, and her commitment to serving the citizens of Kermit, TX, her beloved hometown.
