Norma Moon, she is the Accounting Supervisor. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Sul Ross State University. She started in the financial field as an accounts payable clerk for a hospital for 5 years. Seeking a career change, she became a bookkeeper for an oilfield company for about 6 years. Tired of the commute, she received an offer for an Administrative Assistant position at a different hospital, which she held for 4 years. After resigning and beginning retirement for about a month, she returned to work. She was hired as Winkler County Chief Deputy Clerk. She then applied for the Accounting Supervisor position for the City of Kermit. She is pursuing a master’s degree with an Emphasis in Accounting. She is learning new supervisory techniques under the new City Manager, Mike Arismendez. She believes she brings heart, experience, and a strong sense of purpose to the position. When not working, she rides her motorcycle with her spouse.
